A Safe Place to Call Home

Memory Care at The Fountains

The search for quality Memory Care for a senior loved one can be challenging. At The Fountains of West County, we understand how difficult it is to trust someone else to care for a loved that has Alzheimer’s disease.

Our Memory Care Neighborhood provides adults with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia diagnosis a comfortable and safe place to call home. Family members can relax knowing their loved one is part of a community of caregivers who know how to support their unique needs. Our convenient location makes it easy for families in Ellisville, Chesterfield, Ballwin and Wildwood to stay connected to their senior loved one.

Person-Centered Alzheimer’s Care

In Memory Care Neighborhood, we use a person-centered approach to care. We begin by developing an individual plan for each resident, paying careful attention to their abilities and their challenges. This approach allows residents to maintain their independence longer.

Each caregiver and support team member gets to know your loved one. We learn about their life before Alzheimer’s disease and what still connects and engages them today. We use this knowledge to structure their day in a meaningful and successful way.

A Typical Day

Routine and structure are both important when an adult has memory loss because Alzheimer’s robs people of their ability to plan. Therefore, structure encourages success. Residents of The Fountains of West County Memory Care Neighborhood benefit from a day designed to support their daily routine.
